TMCSuperTech is the premier national skills competition for commercial vehicle technicians, organized by the Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC). Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025, the event brings together top professional and student technicians (TMCFutureTech) from across the industry to assess their skill level and expand their knowledge of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining todayβs commercial vehicles.

How it Works
π Step 1 β Sign Up to Compete
Whether you're a seasoned professional (truck-tractor and/or trailer) or an up-and-coming student technician, this is your chance to elevate your skills on a national stage. Register by August 15, 2025, to compete in this yearβs event. Verified 2025 state champions receive free entry.
π Step 2 β Arrive in Raleigh
Check in at the Raleigh Convention Center starting Saturday, September 13, and attend orientation on Sunday, September 14 at 7 am to meet your fellow competitors and learn what to expect.
π§ Step 3 β Compete in Day One Challenges
All professional technicians compete in a full day of hands-on challenges on Sunday, September 14, with a maximum of 96 advancing to Day Two (subject to change). Meals are provided and spectators are welcome on the floor.
π Step 4 β Celebrate and Hear the Finalists
Wrap up Day One with the TMCSuperTech Welcome Reception & Finalists Announcement (Sponsored by DRiV) and you can enjoy food, drinks, and a chance to connect.
π Step 5 β Take on Day Two
Finalists from the professional track and all student competitors will compete on Monday, September 15. Lunch is provided, and the competition floor is open to observers.
π Step 6 β Attend Training & Awards Day
Attend the TEC Technician Training Fair on Tuesday, September 16, which qualifies for continuing education credits by the ASE Education Foundation, followed by the TMCSuperTech Awards Banquet. Top performers are announced at the banquet for each skills station, and the Grand Champion is crowned, taking home the top prize, including an expense-paid trip for two to the 2026 Daytona 500.
